Restore~n~More Sales Terms and Conditions
Attention Prospective Buyers:
Descriptions are accurate and true to the best of our knowledge.
We try to note any/all damage, but wear that is consistent with normal use may not be specifically noted.
While we make a good faith effort to describe all items completely and accurately, there may be imperfections or flaws we overlook. For this reason, we encourage prospective buyers to view items in person before making a commitment to purchase.
All items are sold as is/where is with no warranties expressed or implied. Please be aware that the utilities are often disconnected to the premises prior to our arrival to remove these items. Therefore, we are not able to test all items before removal. If the homeowner advises us of a problem, we disclose this information in the description. But we may not be aware of all existing issues.
We assume no responsibility for personal injury or property damage incurred during transportation, handling, installation, or use of item(s).
Once the item has left our premises, we will not be responsible for injuries or damages in any way connected to the item(s).
After being given an opportunity to inspect the item(s) and upon taking possession, buyer (or buyer's agent) may be asked to sign a sales contract accepting these conditions of sale.
If you
have any questions regarding these conditions, please contact us
prior to
purchasing an item.
*PA residents must add 6% sales tax. Unless you have a resale number, there are no exceptions to this rule...it's not our choice.

Interested parties are encouraged to view items before purchasing. We're
located in NE PA, approximately 30 minutes north of Scranton, PA and
45 minutes south of Binghamton, NY. To make arrangements, please

Shipping/Transporting:
We will gladly work with the buyer (or buyer's shipping company) to
assist in pick up arrangements, but the buyer is responsible for loading and
transporting their items.
Smaller items may be shipped via UPS if the buyer is willing to assume the actual UPS costs of shipping and packaging. (UPS offers packaging services in addition to shipping.) Following receipt of payment, we will take the item to a UPS Store at no charge. The buyer would then pay UPS directly (i.e. via credit card) for the actual cost of packaging and shipping. We highly recommend insuring such packages. Please be aware that any claims would be between the buyer and UPS. Once we deliver an item to the UPS Store, we no longer assume responsibility for that item.
Holding Items:
We receive many requests to hold items for buyers who either promise to
send payment or who want to come and see the item(s) in person before
purchasing. We're sorry, but we do not honor requests to hold items without a
deposit. Until we receive a deposit, the item could be sold or listed on
ebay at any time. Additionally, once an item has been marked "ebay" on the web
page, it's scheduled for auction and may no longer be available for direct sale.
We do honor an exception to our hold policy for out-of-town buyers traveling to see a particular item. If the person contacts us immediately before they are leaving to come an inspect an item, we will hold it for up to 24 hours to ensure it's available when the person arrives.
Once we receive a deposit on an item, we will hold it for 14 days at no charge. Unless other arrangements are made, the balance is due and the item must be removed within 14 days or the deposit will be forfeited. Please contact us prior to purchasing if you need extended storage, as the cost and availability vary depending on the item.
Please note: Due to a large number of items not being removed in a timely manner, if items are not removed within the time allotted, the buyer will be assessed a storage fee of $1 - $5/day (depending on the size of the item). These storage costs must be paid on a monthly basis. We're sorry to institute this policy, but the majority of our storage space is rented and we cannot continue to assume this cost on behalf of buyers. Currently (at the time we're adding this policy), we have been storing a kitchen for an out-of-state buyer for more than 7 months at a cost to us of $100/month. (Since this particular kitchen sold for $3,000. we've already lost nearly 1/3 of the sale proceeds.)
