Post Removal Photos

We provide post removal photos to  show cabinet construction and component details not visible when installed and to detail flaws or damage not visible as installed and/ore resulting from removal.

This kitchen disassembled very nicely. There was no damage resulting from removal, aside from two broken backsplashes. All other granite and marble was removed intact. All cabinetry was removed without damage.

The cabinets do have minor marks/imperfections common to a used kitchen (i.e. screw holes where cabinets were joined to one another or were affixed to the wall).

Noticeable flaws are detailed below. Please bear in mind that this is a used item and while we make a good faith attempt to describe our items in detail and with accuracy, there may be minor imperfections that we overlook.

Due to space constraints within the storage unit, we were unable to recreate the exact layout as installed.

Overall view in storage unit.

The layout is identical to the original installation with the exception of the cabinets to the left of the refrigerator. We didn't have the room to place these as they were installed.

Due to the size and weight of the granite countertops, we did not attempt to place them on the cabinets. The largest pieces are  strapped to a dolly on the far right of the photo.

The butler's kitchen is pictured separately.

Trim pieces for refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher are not in place, but are included.

With Granite In Place

This is the most manageable piece of granite and the only one we put in place.

Look at that marble!

(Taken from an angle because there was another cabinet in front of it.)

Granite

All granite was removed intact with the exception of the backsplashes behind the sink.

The largest pieces of granite are secured to a dolly.

Additional Granite

The sink is still affixed to the granite countertop.

The other piece of granite (on the right) is the remainder of the counter on the side of the kitchen where the sink was (extending to the refrigerator).

All granite was separated at the seams (as when installed).

Interior of Cabinets

Cabinet interiors are actual wood (no paper lining). They're in excellent condition and are very appealing.

The white rectangular mark on the upper right corner of the drawer is a removable sticker - placed in the cabinet to indicate its position in the kitchen.

Cabinet Construction

These fine cabinets are constructed from wood and plywood.

Some of the edges still have adhesive residue on the top (where the countertop was joined). This may distort the look of the wood/plywood in the photos.

Exceptionally nice hinges.

We were told the door and drawer hardware was all manufactured by Baldwin at a cost of $35 for each handle.

Flaws - Damage - Things Worth Mentioning

Small dent in front panel of dishwasher.

Some of the knobs on the double oven controls have a worn, wrinkled finish.

The edge of the corner cabinet was cut away, presumably to accommodate a larger microwave at one time.

These holes are on the side of the refrigerator cabinet, where the microwave shelf was attached.

Cable running through cabinet adjoining desk (not visible once installed).

Both sides of the sink cabinet have cut away arcs. Additionally, there are holes cut in the cabinet for plumbing.

Crack along the natural fault in one of the marble backsplashes:

It's not entirely separated, but it is cracked.

It's the backsplash only; all marble countertops are in fine condition.

That's all we found to be worth mentioning.
